Building a Stronger Community Together
Founded in 2016 by graduates of the Wooster Citizen’s Police Academy, the Wooster Citizen’s Police Academy Alumni Association (WCPAAA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Wooster Police Department and strengthening relationships between law enforcement and the community.
Our members continue the relationships and understanding developed through the Citizen’s Police Academy by volunteering at community events, supporting police department programs and helping provide resources for the officers who serve Wooster.
Supporting the Officers Who Serve Wooster
WCPAAA turns community support into meaningful resources for the Wooster Police Department. From equipment that helps protect officers in an emergency to meals during training and holidays, our members work to support the people behind the badge.
Your support helps WCPAAA provide equipment, including an e-bike, to better serve the Wooster community.

WCPAAA supports Badges & Bobbers, an annual event that gives local children and families an opportunity to enjoy a day of fishing and positive interaction with members of the Wooster Police Department.
